Our Frames are made from high quality, durable, recyclable, Christmas Green plastic and accented with Snow White, heat stamped raised lettering that will provide a long lasting Holiday decoration for your customers. The lighting is provided by eight (8) RED, safety approved, LEDs (light emitting diodes) that are attached to a PCB (printed circuit board) mounted inside the frames and powered by two 3V coin cell batteries. Temperatures have little effect on the operating capabilities of these batteries; they also work very well in low temperatures which qualifies them for use in outdoor devices A switch is integrated into the assembly to provide easy access and allows the user the ability to turn the unit on and off in order to ensure maximum battery life for display in the Holiday Season.

These frames are permissible for display in the State of California from which they are distributed under section 24003VC of the Department of Motor Vehicles Code. If there are any concerns for their usage in this state, please contact the California Highway Patrol or the local Sheriff’s Department for details and clarification. At the time of document, these frames complied with the posted Department of Motor Vehicles codes of all states excluding Indiana, Mississippi, and Washington where frames are prohibited from having lights. We do not intend to market our product in these states and strongly recommend that individual salespersons and retailers also comply with the laws of these states. PSP Designs assumes no responsibility or liability for the violation of laws in any and all states in regards to their purchase, sale, installation or display. Please check prior to any of these actions with the proper authoritative department for the current law of the individual state.
In addition, our frame design is manufactured and described as a “California Design” and is acceptable as an accent to this state’s license plates. Although most states allow the use of decorative license plate frames, we suggest that the seller or buyer check with the local or State authorities prior to the purchase, installation or display of this or any license plate frame. PSP Designs assumes no liability for the damage to these units due to improper installations or adverse weather conditions. Please be advised that although Lithium batteries perform well in temperatures as low as zero degrees Fahrenheit, extreme moisture, excessively dirty or dusty conditions, or below freezing temperatures may effect the operation of these units. The circuitry contained in these assemblies was designed, manufactured and tested for use with two CR2032 lithium batteries as the power source and replacement should be identical or equivalent in order to attain optimum performance. Any power source modifications will damage the components.

The power source on this product consists of non-rechargable lithium batteries and is not regulated as hazardous waste by the U.S. Federal Government. Therefore, they may be disposed of through your local municipal solid waste program. Please consult with state and local environmental officials to determine whether there are more restrictive laws or regulations in your jurisdiction. Recycling of lithium batteries, including cylindrical, prismatic and button cell is limited at this printing.
